The Spring Reset
a virtual yoga retreat
April 30-May 1, 2021
The Season of Renewal
This Virtual Retreat has been crafted for us to slow down and dive deeper into learning what it means to live from a more intuitive, heart centered space with a focus on learning how to connect back to our Root, to then Reset.
Spring is the season of planting seeds which also means embodying the characteristic of patience; flowers, gardens, and trees don’t blossom overnight, do they? We will focus on the Elements found in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) for Spring that Element is Wood. Spring is about being while also becoming. With patience and persistence we will learn how to stay the course in order to see our truest and fullest potential. We’ll come together with community and consciously cleanse and elevate our lives.
You will leave this Retreat feeling lighter; physically, emotionally, and mentally. Access clarity with an open mind and leave feeling calm, in control, and refocused by releasing and then tapping into a deeper level of you. From the comfort of your own home, create a sanctuary where you can learn and immediately apply all of the tools provided in your new or refocused self care ritual.

Spring & Wood Element:
We will learn how to create balance in your life during Spring, here are some of the ways you can start!
Move: The Liver needs movement and so do you (you’ll learn what this talk about your Liver means at the Retreat!) so get outside and take long walks in nature, observe the changes going on all around you, and invite change in.
Recreate Order Out of Chaos: Go through your home and office and get rid of stuff that you donʼt need; give things away and create the space for the new to come in. Allow new things into your life. Imagine what you would like to create in your life and find ways to make plans to actuate these dreams.
As Without, So Within: Spring is the time to start a healthier diet and flush out the toxins so that the Liver can do its job more effectively. Begin by eliminating foods that stress the Liver, such as fried or very fatty foods. Sugar and white flour should be eliminated or minimized, and foods with chemical preservatives and food coloring should be avoided. Donʼt overeat. Try to eat slowly, savoring the flavors. Enjoy the abundance of fresh foods that are beginning to come to market.
Let Go of Old Resentments and Start Fresh: Grudges and resentments are indigestible and can do damage to Liver energy. Practice forgiveness.
Take a Risk and Try Something New: Think of what you would like to try, even if it seems silly or scary. The small delicate sprout would never know its potential if it stayed safe within its seed…begin sprouting and be playful.
Hydrate Your Body: Drink eight to ten 8 oz. glasses of water daily. Use filtered water, not carbonated. Adding some lemon juice gives it a nice taste, and lemon nourishes the Liver.
