Reflect & Plan Workshop

Reflect on 2024 and plan ahead for 2025

First, the story.

WHY does this workshop matter?

  • We often don’t carve out space or time to reflect on just how much we’ve accomplished and how far we’ve come. We also tend to tend to ourselves last, not first. Carving out space is easy when it’s for everything else in our lives (family, kids, work, you name it..) but creating that invaluable sacred time for ourselves seems to wait until the last moment, if we have just enough energy left in our day to do something for us.

  • I (Sharon) have been 1. Created and have been DOING this workshop for 10+ years myself and 2. LEADING this workshop for now 7 + years. And…the work always works. It works. Now listen….that doesn’t mean you’ll go through these journal prompts and magically transform your life……it’s your STEP ONE. It get’s the mind going, it is planting the seeds in our brain so that sub consciously we actually know (deep down) what we are working towards, rather than perhaps not having a plan, etc.

  • In both doing and leading this workshop, I have quite literally “manifested” or been able to see every single dream or vision i’ve had for my life become my reality. (All of our dreams and visions are so different) …from Running my first ever Marathon and coming in 4th place for women while also Boston Marathon Qualifying, to finding and marrying a partner I truly feel aligned with and safe, seen, + supported, to traveling the world because it brings me pure joy and growth, to running my own business successfully for 8+ years hitting specific financial markers along the way, and to buying a house feeling scared shitless that my life’s savings is totally depleted and I no longer have a “safety net” which brings up so much damn trauma, to now being the Director of Yoga & Wellness for a healthcare company (Baker Health) whose mission is to transform our shitty Healthcare system, sharing a vision and mission I believe deeply in….you get the point.

  • A reason this also works is because it helps us process and think about things we might not think of otherwise and then it get’s those thoughts out on paper. A bonus is stating it and sharing it out loud, vocalizing it. All of those things makes it REAL.

  • I hope this workshop feels HELPFUL or eye opening. I hope you have nuggets of “AH HA” moments, insightful moments, and clarity in moving forward. I hope you feel REALLY challenged by some of these questions and give yourself the TIME to actually sit with that and answer them anyway. And that some questions feel surprising and therefore eye opening.

  • Enjoy. And I am here for you, cheering you on, from afar. If you are seeking support - reach out. The hardest part IS what comes after this…the implementation. Remember, this is step ONE, planting your seeds….from here you must, slowly but surely, tend to them so that they are nourished and blossom, surely in due time!

Remember, there is no right or wrong, it’s precisely, and only what you need it to be. My biggest ask (always) if to try and remain OPEN to your experience. whatever comes up, let it, there's likely a reason for it, give it space and let it out.

 
 

2024 Major Area Reflection

Set a timer, say 10-15 minutes max

In general do a mind dump on your 2023 and reflect. How was your year, as a whole? Think through major celebrations, hurdles, victories, and setbacks.

Reflect on the following major areas of your life:

  1. Friends | Community | Social

  2. Family | Partnerships | Love Relationships

  3. Health {Physical, mental, spiritual}

  4. Career | Work | Studies

  5. Finances

  6. Creativity | Fun {things that spark joy}

  7. Contribution {volunteering of time, giving back, etc.}

 

 
 
 
 

2025 Questions

Go through these one by one and thoroughly answer. Take as much time as you need.

  1. Biggest win | celebration?

  2. Most proud of?

  3. Biggest hurdle?

  4. Biggest lesson learned?

  5. Favorite experience?

  6. Most grateful for?

  7. Most nourished or cared for area in your life and least? {can use the “major area” as a guideline if you’d like

  8. Any limiting beliefs you want to leave behind?

  9. Do you see yourself stuck or repeating any patterns or behaviors that you’d like to change?

  10. Where/how did you grow or get outside of your comfort zone?

  11. What brought you the most joy & happiness?

 
 

Before we move forward..

  • Take a moment, think + write about one thing that stood out to you from your refections and as a whole. Maybe it was an ah-ha moment, etc.

  • What was a major takeaway you had?

  • Circle 1-3 of the questions that stand out the most (why?)

  • Go back and highlight 1 or 2 of these. (they matter)


 

Now, let’s plan ..

Phew, take a moment to pause. That was alot! Deep breath in, deep breath out.
Now that we’ve done a deep dive reflection, you can see just how far you’ve come and just how much you’ve accomplished this year. I hope you can take a moment and feel really proud o yourself, for all of the things, good bad and in between.

  7. In which area do you wish to grow?

  8. How will you handle your hurdles?

  • Write out 1-3 actionable steps you will make towards achieving your top 1-3 goals

    • Get even more clear, how will you implement these {do you need support? Can you start right away?}

  • Write out 1-3 steps for how you will implement increasing the “major life area"‘s” in your life in 2025
