Journal Prompts
Monthly
*Each month you will have weekly journal prompts to guide you.
August
Week 1
Finding grace starts from understanding what grace means to you. Take a moment and write out what grace means to you or what you’d like it to mean.
Week 2
How can/do you find grace in your life? Write down some moment where you have witness yourself applying grace and ease recently.
What are some other ways you can incorporate finding grace more consistantly, weekly, daily?
Week 3
When do you feel like you naturally, easily have grace? (do more of these things that brings this out naturally for you)
Week 4
Pair this week’s journaling with your personal meditation practice. Journal on anything that arises. This is the time where you build a deeper learning and understanding on yourself. There is no right or wrong here.
Previous Month’s
July
Week 1
Plant seeds and intentions for the month (or even longer). Before beginning your meditation (refer to mediation page, week 1 of April) please take 5 minutes to grab your journal and write. Write out what you’d like to focus your energy on for April, where you’d like to plant new seeds, and how you want those things to look and feel for you in your body and heart.
Week 3
This week ask yourself how it feels
+To step into what I want?
+To take action towards my desires?
+To watch the seeds I planted manifest into the real world?
Create your own affirmation to carry with you on this phase this week and next.
*But instead of using an affirmation such as “I feel awakened, I feel worthy, I feel amazing..etc, use powerful, present tense statements such as “I am awakened, I am worthy, I am amazing!”
That small shift in HOW you speak, makes a very big difference! Have fun with it
Week 2
Planting seeds puts our desires out there into the world; by speaking, writing, drawing, or expressing through affirmations and meditation, and starts to make it real. This can feel big and scary. So this week the focus is on asking yourself the following:
+What do I need to support the seeds I’ve planted? (Support. By what, who, when, where, and how?)
+What is missing and how can I get it? (tangible or intangible - may it be a mindset shift or actual physically obtaining something to help you)
+What happens when or if I hit a block towards what I want? (will you let it control you, or can you flip this and see how you can ACCEPT, release control, and trust in the process--hard I know.)
Week 4
Observe, do what you need. We must not always feel we have to do. Sometimes we have to simply just be.
The idea of this week is to ask yourself, “What do I need this week, in this moment?” If you need more reaffirming, head back to the breath-work to embody what you’ve been calling in. Etc.
Otherwise this is your goal for the week:
To not listen to a guided meditation, but to do your own, on your own.
Set 5-10 minutes (ONLY, not more than 10) and sit in stillness to just practice what that feels like.
Journal on:
Anything that arises in that time. Even if nothing, state nothing came up. Share how you felt. Etc
