Bali, The Retreat of a Lifetime

Join us for this in-person, international Retreat. This Retreat has been crafted for us to fully live in the magic of our lives, embracing our ability to take in life, live it fully, be present and let go of what no longer serves us, making space for growth and transformation.

Bali, also known as the Land of the Gods is known for its pure, natural beauty of looming volcanoes and lush terraced rice paddies that exude peace, creativity, and serenity. It is the most famous island in Indonesia and known for their friendly Balinese people. Ubud, is known as Bali’s center for healing (Ubud originates from the word Ubad or Obad which means medicine).

Come Reset deeply with us in Indonesia where we will immerse ourselves in the Balinese culture of Ubud. Spend a week living fully, filling your own cup and immersing yourself in this magical, sacred land. Expect deep inner transformations and those cherished “ah-ha” moments. Come to learn and practice self care, yoga, and unplugging. We’ll eat local organic meals, explore new culture and land, and experience Bali’s top excursions. This is the Retreat of a lifetime. We can’t wait to Reset with you in Bali.

 FAQ’S

Do I need a visa to travel to Bali?
Depending on your nationality you may need to apply for a visa in advance or you may be eligible for a VISA on arrival. Please check this link to check. If so it is $35 USD. There is now a Visa On Arrival which you can do prior, electronically.

Passport:
Make sure that you have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the arrival date or you will be turned away from your departing city. You must also have proof of a return ticket.

What airport do I fly into?
Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is the international airpot you will be flying into. Remember to double check your arrival date and retreat start date due to the time change!

How do I get to Naya Retreat Center from the airport?
This is included in your Retreat private transportation for you. You will have a shuttle set up in advance, you will look for a big welcome sign with your name or group name and your Retreat leader will give you further instructions as needed.

What is the electrical current/outlet situation in Bali?
Bali electricity runs at 220V.  Adapters will be necessary if you are bringing any electrical items. You’ll need an adapter for the European plug (two round pins). Here you can find a universal adapter.

Do I need vaccines?
Traveling outside of your home country can expose you to bugs your body might not be used to. The odd case of "bali belly" (diarrhea) is not uncommon. Packing an anti-diarrheal can put you at ease. It's always nice to check in with your family doctor or local travel clinic if you need any information on vaccines or medications to bring with you. There are pharmacies ("Apotek" in Indonesian) in Ubud, Bali just to know.

COVID Entry & Exit:
As of July 2022, Indonesia is requiring proof of vaccination to enter. International travelers who cannot be vaccinated due to medical conditions are exempted from showing proof of vaccination against COVID-19 only with a doctor’s note or supporting documentation. Indonesia’s Covid requirements may differ depending on your origin country.
For up to date information ono entering Indonesia:
Please check this government website for more information.

What are the cancellation and refund policies?
Please refer back to the payment area and review the cancellation and refund policies.

What happens if Bali goes into a lockdown again due to COVID?
We of course hope that this doesn’t happen. In the event that it does, we will notify everyone who has signed up for the retreat and provide any updates and also provide the new rescheduled retreat date. What we do know is BALI IS MAGICAL, AND IT’S WORTH THE WAIT.

What is the currency?
The currency here is called Rupiah. You can bring your own currency over and convert it (recommended to convert at the airport and if you have, use a debit card that doesn’t charge for in foreign countries to take out money) or use ATM machines to withdraw Indonesian currency.  ATM withdrawal fees vary bank to bank, so make sure you check in with yours to get all the info. Many restaurants and stores take credit cards. Don't forget to let your bank or credit card company know you are traveling.

What will the weather be like and what should I pack?
Because Bali is located near the equator, Bali tends to have fairly stable weather with the ‘wet’ season occurring between November and March and the ‘dry’ season between May and September. It is generally always hot with temperatures hovering in the mid to high 80s and up. We recommend light clothing that breathes but can also protect you from the sun. Being near the equator, our sun is hot and can burn much faster than what you might be used to. Sleeves or a light jacket is also helpful in the evenings if you decide to take a scooter ride. Don't forget to pack your own sunscreen and bug spray!

Are there mosquitos?
Yes. We recommend bringing a mosquito repellent and applying it generously at dusk and dawn.

Travel Insurance:
It is recommended to get travel insurance.

Extended Travel:
As you are traveling around the world it is totally suggested to add a few days (at the beginning ro end, your choice!) and go elsewhere in Bali or SEA (South East Asia), contact us for suggestions.

Culture:
Hinduism is the soul of Bali with over 20,000 temples in Bali. Incense burns through out the villages as the local balinese offer their prayers three times a day to please the Gods. With the thousand year old ancient rice fields, still carefully harvested today in the old traditions. Ubud is best known for it's generations of artisans. Wood and stone carvers, silversmiths, painters, batik makers, weavers, these skills and talents are passed down and carefully preserved. Dancers move gracefully as their hands and eyes tell the stories of lifetimes ago. Bali is a feast for the senses with almost daily ceremonies celebrating the cycle of life.
